In the summer of 2018, my friend and I ran a coding school in his basement. We borrowed some Arduino kits and offered to teach our family friends’ kids.
Less than a year later, we set up in a legitimate classroom and opened the class to all interested students. Everything from logistics and finances to lesson planning was a crucial aspect and running the program was a very valuable learning experience.
To this date, we’ve introduced over 20 children to coding and with plans to continue growing and teach even more.
